Same kit, a cheaper monthly fee, no disgusting contracts. So if you're stuck on deciding a new gym ABSOLUTELY choose pure. This gym is basically a wayyy overpriced Pure Gym - absolutely no difference in kit or benefits, just a £20+ extra monthly fee and a horrible contract that ties you in and extracts as much money from you as possible. You have to give more than a month's notice to get out of this terribly outdated and strict, predatory contract that extracts as much money from people as possible with not a care in the world. Their Contracts are a scam and they charge disgusting fees
They are surely breaking the law and harassing people for debts that do not exist. Unfortunately its distressing for my Wife and everyone on this thread by the sound of it. They have even stated that you have to provide medical evidence to cancel membership of a bl00dy gym, what the hell are they on thats private confidential information for gods sake. The debt collecting agency are not listening or accepting actual physical evidence as in the saved emails that her membership should have been cancelled they claim there's nothing on her file, well thats their fault my Wife kept her emails. She continued to pay her membership for 5 months without even attending yet they are claiming a debt of over £200.00. Luckily my Wife has kept all her email exchanges clearly informing the Gym that she has a health problem preventing her from training and is cancelling her membership giving 1 months notice. This week a very demanding debt collector letter arrived from AYOAM. She informed Anytime Fitness over the telephone and via email back in 2017 and Jan 2018. She unfortunately had to give up training due to a health condition. My Wife is having exactly the same problem.
